Nevada Governor Sisolak to announce plans, date for Phase 1 reopening in Nevada

Today at 3:00 p.m., Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak will hold a press conference to announce plans and a date for Phase 1 reopening in Nevada, which is now slated to occur before the May 15 date previously set forth last week.

The press conference will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 7 inside Room 2149 of the Nevada State Legislature in Carson City and will be streamed online on the leg.state.nv.us website. 

Last week, Gov. Sisolak extended the Stay at Home directive to May 15. The Governor also unveiled Nevada United: Roadmap to Recovery, the State’s plan to reopen the economy, while continuing to employ safeguards against COVID-19.
